Costa Blanca revisited

Well last week we revisited the Costa Blanca.  It was only a 4 day trip, mixing mainly business with some pleasure.  4 meetings, looking at some of our newer properties and the odd sneaky trip to the beaches.

We were really looking forward to seeing our colleagues in Spain.  Some we have worked with for several years, some only in the last year or two, so we were meeting them either for the first time in a while, or the first time ever. It was great to catch up with our colleagues, to discuss the market today and working together for our clients going forward.

The work was great; the highlight probably being agreeing to have exclusive listings with the developer of two new build developments in the area, with the promise of more to come on the Costa Blanca and some further afield in Spain.  We were taken to look around the developments and put on a hard hat for the viewing.  The hard hat did nothing for my hair in the hot weather but the development looks excellent and a cool off in the sea 5 minutes walk away straight afterwards was just what was needed.

We loved every minute of our trip and I can't wait to be out there again at the end of the month taking clients to see the area and to view properties to buy.

Catch up again soon!

Thinking of Menorca

Only 7 weeks and 3 days (not counting, honest!) to go before we are back on the heavenly island of Menorca.
The sky will be blue and the air oh so fresh, we cannot wait.

My dad said ”Rachel, find a job you love and you will never work again” mixing business and pleasure on this island is a dream job come true.

Our mornings will start with a brisk walk from Cala Galdana to Cala Macarella, taking us approx 30 mins, a breathtaking  30 mins of coastal joy followed by breakfast with my work buddies.

Whilst we are in Menorca I cannot resist the fine dining in the Restaurant S’espigo located in the Capital Mahon – it is simply perfect! We will eat the mejillones al vapour (steamed mussels) and drink  the local vino, who could ask for much more whilst at work!!!

My favourite part of the trip is the feeling of freedom; freedom from a dark sky and a miserable day, roll on April please, it cannot come quick enough.
